Pisces is the end of the wheel, where the categories the other eleven built stop holding. A planet here works by permeability: it takes in more than it can sort, feels what is in the room without being told, and is not entirely sure where it stops and the situation starts.
Traditionally Jupiter's, with Neptune assigned later: abundance and dissolution, which turn out to be the same motion seen from different distances. Mutable water takes the shape of its container. That is the gift and the whole problem: enormous imaginative and empathic range, and real difficulty holding a line when a line is what the situation needs.
