Kitsune Tarot

Terms of use

The deal between you and Kitsune Tarot. Short, because most of it is common sense and the rest is about credits.

What this is

Kitsune Tarot draws tarot cards, computes birth charts, and — if you spend credits — has an AI write an interpretation. By using the site you agree to what's on this page. If you don't, the honest answer is please don't use it.

You need to be 16 or older to make an account.

Readings are for reflection, not prophecy

This matters more than anything else here. Card meanings, chart readings and AI interpretations are offered for reflection and enjoyment. They are not predictions, and they are not advice.

Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a professional who owes you a duty of care. Please don't make a decision that matters — about your health, your money, your safety or another person — on the basis of a card. If you are struggling, a real human professional is worth more than any spread this site can draw.

Interpretations are generated by a language model. It will sometimes be wrong, and it can produce text that reads as more certain than anything could justify. Treat it as a prompt for your own thinking.

Free, and paid

Every deck, every card meaning, every spread, the birth chart wheel and your journal are free, and the intention is that they stay that way. Credits pay for the things that cost real money to run — the AI interpretations and chart reports.

  • Credits are bought in packs, or included with a subscription. They have no cash value and can't be transferred or redeemed for money.
  • A credit is spent when an interpretation is generated. If a generation fails, or stops short because it ran out of room, the credit is returned automatically — that's our mistake to absorb, not yours.
  • A subscription grants credits each billing period and renews until you cancel it. Cancel any time from your account; you keep the period you've paid for.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay.

Refunds

If credits were charged and you didn't get the reading, that's a fault and we'll put it right — usually automatically, and by asking if not. Beyond that, unused credits are refundable at our discretion; write in and ask, and expect a reasonable answer.

Your account and your content

Keep your sign-in to yourself, and don't use someone else's. Your questions, notes and saved readings are yours; we store them to show them back to you and don't claim ownership of them.

Don't use the site to break the law, to harass anyone, to hammer it with automated requests, or to try to extract other people's data. Don't submit other people's personal details — including someone else's birth details — unless they'd be fine with it. We may suspend an account that's doing any of that.

The art and the decks

The three decks, the card art, the stone and bloom paintings and the written meanings belong to their creators and are not yours to redistribute or sell. Screenshot your own readings and share them wherever you like — that's the point of a reading.

No guarantees about uptime

This is a small site, run by a small number of people. It may go down, lose a feature, or change. Nothing here is offered with a warranty, and to the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you actually paid — which for most people is nothing.

Your own copies matter: readings kept only in your browser can be lost by clearing your browser data, and we have no copy to restore.

Changes

These terms may change as the site does. Continuing to use it after a change means accepting the new version. If a change is significant, the intention is to say so rather than hope nobody notices.
