Upright
The canopy lies torn on the dark shore, umbrellas planted like banners, and gold dawn breaking anyway. Fully, completely over. The mercy: nothing more can be taken, and the light is already up.
Reversed
Refusing to lie down in a finished ending, or slowly rising from one. Either way the only remaining direction is sunrise.
Ten of Umbrellas, painted three times
All three decks run the same seventy-eight cards, so this one has two siblings: the same card, painted for a different world.
Kitsune TarotTen of FansFace-down on the dark shore, fans planted like banners, and gold dawn breaking. It's over, completely. The mercy of the card: nothing more can be taken, and light is already rising.See this one →
Fill the Void TarotTen of ClawsFlat on her back on the rug in full dramatic belly-up collapse, toys planted around her like battle banners, dawn breaking on her theatrical defeat. It is over, and the performance is part of the grief. Let the dawn in.See this one →
