Upright
Deep under the bed, holding vigil, amber eyes and one glowing mote the only lights in that small cosmos. Go under the bed on purpose. The answer is not out in the room.
Reversed
Hiding dressed up as retreat, or so long alone that the dark stopped being restful. Come out and eat something.
The Hermit, painted three times
All three decks run the same seventy-eight cards, so this one has two siblings: the same card, painted for a different world.
Kitsune TarotThe grey fox climbs alone, lantern cradling one star. Withdraw on purpose; the answer needs quiet and a single light, not a crowd and a floodlamp.See this one →
Yōkai TarotThe one-eyed monk climbs alone, lantern cradling a single star. Withdraw and look with the eye you actually have, not the crowd's dozen. The path is lit one step at a time.See this one →
