Upright
The many-tailed fox on the stone throne rules by making the boundary clear. Build the frame: rules, schedule, spine. Freedom needs a fence to lean on.
Reversed
The throne squeezed too tight: rigidity, domineering, or an authority you've outgrown. A fence is not a cage unless someone locks it.
The Emperor, painted three times
All three decks run the same seventy-eight cards, so this one has two siblings: the same card, painted for a different world.
Yōkai TarotThe daitengu rules the peak with a war fan and a straight spine. Build the frame, hold the line, let the wind argue. Order is a kindness you enforce.See this one →
Fill the Void TarotThe humans' finest armchair, unmistakably hers now, feather wand held like a scepter. Take the chair. Structure is not the enemy of freedom; it is what holds the shape.See this one →
